Participatory historical workshop for the speakers of Nahuatl
We announce the Participatory historical workshop: reading Nahuatl documents of our ancestors (the sixteenth through the eighteenth century) – Tototatahhuan inintlahtol: Nahuatlapohualiztequitl (XVI – XVIII hueixihuicahuitl). The workshop will take place in the Archivo General de la Nación in Mexico City on October 8 and 9, 2018. It will be conducted entirely in modern Nahuatl and will focus on the palaeography, reading, interpretation and discussion of colonial documents written by the Nahua people.
It will be accompanied by the presentation of the publications of the Nahuatl-language Totlahtol Series, published by the Faculty of „Arts Liberals” of the University of Warsaw and the Instituto de Docencia e Investigación Etnólogica de Zacatecas.
